Cincinnati Bengals, NFL and Trade Deadline

The Bengals get Lammons, a veteran on the final year of his contract who can provide nice depth. They need help now and into 2026 with Cam Taylor-Britt, at least, seeming on his way out the door. There’s still the issue of honoring trade requests at all here, but getting something back out of a messy split with Wilson is better than nothing.
The Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Rams have some similar needs to address ahead of the trade deadline and all three teams have reportedly called about three Cincinnati Bengals players.
The Cincinnati Bengals quietly announced two roster moves before Week 9 against the Chicago Bears. In the Bengals’ announcement, typically, elevating linebacker Brian Asamoah II and guard Jaxson Kirkland from the practice squad to the active roster wouldn’t be a big deal. But the Bengals have injury concerns and NFL trade deadline deals to ponder.
According to ESPN's Ben Baby, Bengals defensive lineman McKinnley Jackson has requested a trade. It is unclear if Cincinnati will move him, though. Jackson was a third-round pick of the Bengals in 2024 but has been an afterthought on the defense over a season-plus.
According to ESPN’s Ben Baby, Jackson has asked for a trade or release, making him the third defender in recent weeks to ask off the team. A third-round pick by the Bengals in 2024, Jackson hasn’t been able to shake free of the inactives list for most of the season.
Despite continuing to receive trade calls from teams across the NFL, the Bengals aren't interested in moving Trey Hendrickson or Logan Wilson.
