Oregon got off to a rough start to Friday's semifinal game when Dante Moore threw a pick-six on the first play from scrimmage. Moore responded by leading the Ducks on a game-tying touchdown drive, although he struggled with ball control later in the half.
From the first play from scrimmage, Oregon was overmatched and outplayed in Friday night's College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Indiana in Atlanta. The Ducks turned it over on three of their first six possessions, each of those mistakes leading to touchdowns for the Hoosiers and a further increasing deficit that culminated in a 56-22 defeat.
