Andy Reid seems to be leaning towards playing it safe with his star players for Friday night's preseason game.

In recent seasons, the Chiefs have used their second preseason game to give starters their most extensive playing time. Last season, Mahomes went six snaps in the first game, 24 in the second and none in the third.

We're unlikely to see Patrick Mahomes in the Chiefs' second preseason game. But we do need to see more from some of his teammates.
