CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- A Clarendon Hills baseball team won a game Saturday in the Little League World Series tournament. The local Little League team is representing the Great Lakes region. They defeated the Mid-Atlantic team with a score of 3-2.

Clarendon Hills bounced back from a lopsided loss in the first round of the Little League World Series​ to beat the Mid-Atlantic Region champion from Upper Uwchlan Township, Pennsylvania on Saturday 3-2.

The Clarendon Hills team is set for an elimination game against Honolulu in the Little League World Series on Sunday.

The team from Clarendon Hills fell behind early in its Little League World Series opening game, eventually losing 16-1 to Las Vegas.
