The Klint Kubiak head coaching requests highlights the dark side of having a defensive minded head coach for the Seattle Seahawks.

Klint Kubiak has turned Seattle into an elite offense, but other teams are now interviewing him for their head coach openings.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had a tremendous first year in Seattle, throwing for the fifth-most yards (4,048) and the ninth-most touchdowns (25). His favorite target, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, had a career year with the fourth-most receptions (119), the most yards (1,793) and the 10th-most touchdowns (10) in the NFL.

Klint Kubiak's success with the Seahawks hasn't gone unnoticed. The former Saints play caller is drawing a lot of head coach interview requests.

The Raiders are set for several head coaching interviews on Thursday. Albert Breer of SI.com reports that they will interview former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. Previous reports noted that they will also be speaking with Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph and Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.
