During an episode of Jason Whitlock’s show Fearless on Thursday, guest co-host Jay Skapinac weighed in on LeBron James’ role with the Lakers, suggesting he would need to take the "back seat" for the team to remain competitive in the Western Conference.

The Lakers are widely expected to re-sign Reaves, ideally as the No. 2 next to Luka Doncic, but they can't let him walk for nothing.

Doncic, who has missed the past three games with a sprained left finger and a lower left leg contusion, is listed as questionable on the team’s injury report. Marcus Smart could also return
