Matt Ryan comments on new role as Falcons' president of football
Matt Ryan, who spent 14 seasons as the Falcons quarterback from 2008 to 2021, has returned to Atlanta to become the team's president of football. Ryan will take over this newly created role to help get the team back to the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
The Falcons will interview former franchise quarterback Matt Ryan, among others, for a new role entitled the "president of football," owner Arthur Blank said Thursday at a news conference.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross released a statement that explained his decision to hire Jon-Eric Sullivan as the team's newest general manager.
