Our weather pattern is about to shift toward more fall-like weather this week. Sunday is warmer in the mid-80s for highs as a breeze develops from the west. A few storms are possible in the Piedmont Triad with better rain chances in the Mountains and Foothills.

A tropical depression is expected to form later today with further strengthening likely on Sunday, potentially becoming Tropical Storm Fernand. Hurricane hunters are set to investigate the system later today.
