The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office has reported that a fire has heavily damaged the Zion Hill Baptist Church building.

The Dyer council resisted signing the contract through most of last year but continued providing fire protection because it didn't want residents to go without, Town Manager Joe Neeb said.
