The White-Winged Diuca Finch resides high up in glacial crevices, laying eggs that hatch inside these warm nests. This YouTube video shows rare footage of the birds at roughly 19,000 feet.

Not sure what happened but I suspect the mother finch was somehow responsible. As of this writing, the three eggs hatched and the mother finch is busy raising her young cowbird-less brood of triplets.
