Fox wants to charge YouTube TV more than it wants to pay for its content, so content could be killed from streaming platform.

On Wednesday, FCC chairman Brendan Carr entered the fray on social media, with a message to YouTube’s parent company, Google.

Michigan State will open the their college football season Friday, Aug 29 at home against Western Michigan on FS1 and this dispute could impact fans’ ability to watch the game. Kickoff for Friday night’s season opener is set for 7:00 p.m. at Spartan Stadium.

The two sides have reached a "short-term extension" of a contract that expired on Wednesday. The duration of the extension has not been disclosed. Presumably, it kicks the can through Saturday's college football opener between No. 1 Texas and No. 3 Ohio State, starting at 12:00 p.m. ET on Fox.
