ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- History is on the move, as a very old train takes to the track at the National Railroad Museum in Ashwaubenon.

If you're a fan of trains, history or even autumn foliage, you'll have a rare chance this fall to catch a ride on the last surviving 611 steam locomotive.

The public will have the chance to be among the first passengers to enjoy a nostalgic ride on the newly-restored locomotive.

PLANS for a new railway running from town to the west of the Island have sparked intrigue and debate. But one enthusiast is seeking to expand Jersey’s train offering – albeit on a smaller scale.

Each Sunday in October, the steam locomotive with a train of cars chugs east from Coldwater to Quincy and back, drawing crowds from all over the area and sometimes farther.
