With two SEC games remaining, Alabama football is in a strong position to reach the College Football Playoff, yet almost anything can still happen.

According to ESPN BET, Georgia is favored by 6.5 points on Saturday. A win for the Bulldogs would give them one of the stronger resumes in college football, possibly eliminate Texas from playoff contention and also push their record against the Longhorns to 3-1 all time.

Back in July, Texas and Georgia were picked to finish first and second in the SEC preseason poll. Both teams are now fighting to remain in the hunt for a conference championship.
