If you've enjoyed F1 broadcasts on ESPN in the United States, there's some surprising news on Friday: Beginning in 2026, Apple TV will be broadcasting Formula 1 instead.
After an astonishing seven crashes and six red-flag stoppages – an F1 record – we've been left with a suitably bonkers starting grid at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Max Verstappen in on pole, with Carlos Sainz in P2, Liam Lawson in P3 and Yuki Tsunoda in P6.
Apple Original Films has announced that F1: The Movie will be released on Apple TV worldwide on Friday 12 December.
