The National Weather Service yesterday confirmed the Wednesday afternoon tornado. Today, the agency released details about where and how long it was on the ground, and the damage that was reported.

At least 10 tornadoes were reported in central Minnesota, but large hail in the southwest metro and localized flooding could prove the most costly.
