Sixth small earthquake in recent weeks recorded near Kansas town
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Another small earthquake has been recorded in north-central Kansas. The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake happened around 6 p.m. Monday in Ellsworth County, about halfway between the city of Wilson and Wilson Lake.
This was the first earthquake recorded in this part of the Palmetto State since July, and the 33rd overall in 2025.
