It was a rough start for the Aggies in their second Mountain West road game of the 2025 college football season, and they were never really able to recover.
Texas A&M is the first school to be hit with a penalty over a violation of the rule, which was approved by the SEC in 2022. The NCAA also approved changes to injury timeout rules that began this season that charges a timeout to a player's team if they present as injured after the ball is spotted by the officiated crew for the next play.
