Air Canada suspended its guidance through the end of this year, citing the impact of a strike by flight attendants that has caused the airline to suspend its flying schedule.

Air Canada said it suspended plans to restart operations on Sunday (August 17, 2025) after the union representing 10,000 flight attendants said it will defy a return to work order.

“Our members will remain on strike, and we invite Air Canada back to the table to negotiate a fair deal,” CUPE said in a statement.
