Fourteen seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, an NFL MVP, a place in the team's Ring of Honor and holding every passing record in franchise history just weren't enough for Matt Ryan.

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Falcons on Saturday named former longtime quarterback Matt Ryan to the newly created role of president of football.

The Falcon said on Saturday afternoon that they interviewed current Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
