No. 10 Vanderbilt beat No. 15 Missouri in what was a very entertaining, yet strange game. Both defenses dominated the first half with the score being knotted up a 3-3 at the halftime break. It was certainly not what anyone was expecting,

Freshman Matt Zollers got his first taste of being the guy for Mizzou, going 14-for-23 for 138 yards despite entering late in the game. The Tigers ended the game on the 1-yard line, inches away from a game-tying score.

According to SP+, the Tigers grade out as the eighth-best team in the country, boasting the 11th-best offense and No. 20-ranked defense. That defense will be tested against Vandy’s prolific offense, but Mizzou’s attack should have some success against the Commodores’ defense, which is not on par with most of the other contenders in the SEC.
