Suspect charged with murder of NYC man who was visiting Puerto Rico for Bad Bunny concert: Officials
Officials in Puerto Rico have charged a 37-year-old man for allegedly killing a tourist from New York who was visiting to attend a Bad Bunny concert.
Authorities in Puerto Rico say a 37-year-old man has turned himself into police and was charged in the recent killing of a tourist from the U.S. mainland who had flown to the island for Bad Bunny’s residency.
A wake was held Saturday for 25-year-old Kevin Mares, a Queens man who was killed while on vacation in Puerto Rico last weekend. Mares, his girlfriend and two others were on the island for a Bad Bunny concert, then they went to a nightclub in the seaside community of La Perla, known for drugs and violence.
Kalel Jorell Martínez Bristol, 38, was arrested and arraigned in Puerto Rico Friday on first-degree murder charges for allegedly shooting 25-year-old Kevin Mares, an innocent bystander standing
