The ship briefly reopened to tours last year, but Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. marked the return of normal public visitation. Regular hours will be Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

After that, it will be open for public tours from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and then resume normal public visiting hours Friday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Old Ironsides as the warship is known, is scheduled to take about 200 health care workers and first responders on a three-hour tour in Boston Harbor this coming Friday, the Navy said in a statement.
