LSU football eyeing pair of elite transfers

LSU received some good news on Saturday regarding two players, as both Trey’Dez Green and Braelin Moore are reportedly close to finalizing contracts to return in 2026. Matt Moscona had it first. Green led LSU with seven touchdown receptions this past year as he emerged as a key target in the red zone.
The LSU Tigers are going to feel change throughout their roster in the first year of the Lane Kiffin era, but maybe nowhere more so than in the wide receiver room. There will be no returning starters from last year's offense on the team. There could only be one person from the previous team in all, depending on what happens with Nic Anderson.
The Tigers have scheduled all three nonconference games for 2026. They’ll host Clemson on Sept. 5, Louisiana Tech on Sept. 12 and McNeese State on Oct. 3. LSU finalized an agreement to play the Bulldogs on Wednesday.
