Amazon protects customers from brand impersonation scams not just on Black Friday but all year. Although the annual sales explosion that is the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend is not due to spark into life until Nov.

Amazon has officially announced the start date for its Black Friday 2024 sale, but there's already some great discounts to consider before then as well.

After spending several weeks in the shadows while the other big retailers duked it out for the early Black Friday announcement spotlight, Amazon finally announced dates for its end-of-November schedule on Nov. 13: Amazon's Black Friday event will start on Thursday, Nov. 21, and run through (Cyber) Monday, Dec. 2, with new deals dropping every day.
