Quarterback Kyler Murray will not start for the Arizona Cardinals on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Despite reports that Murray would return this week, head coach Jonathan Gannon announced Saturday that Jacoby Brissett would start, but that Murray could have a role.

National reports from Adam Schefter have said that Murray was expected to start after the bye week against the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Jonathan Gannon answered affirmatively when asked if he is preparing Murray to start. However, based on what has been seen in the open portion of practice on Thursday and Friday, maybe that isn't the case.
