A 19-year-old woman is dead and police are investigating after a road rage shooting in Dearborn, Michigan Friday night.

A woman was shot and killed Friday night when two drivers got into a road rage dispute in the area of the Detroit-Dearborn border, police said.

As the vehicles reached the intersection of Tireman and West Morrow Circle, the Chrysler turned onto Cheyenne St and several gunshots were fired at the Grand Cherokee. One of the bullets entered the victim's vehicle through the windshield, fatally striking the driver.

Three people are in custody stemming from a road incident that turned deadly when gunfire hit and killed a driver, police said. The deceased was identified as a 19-year-old Dearborn Heights woman, according to the Dearborn Police Department.
