BATH TWP. — The crew of a small jet plane that crashed on Thursday, Oct. 16, in a wooded area northeast of Lansing was on a test flight following scheduled maintenance performed in Battle Creek, the aircraft maintenance company said. The company, Duncan Aviation, said the Beechcraft Hawker 800XP was on a "stall flight" when the crash happened.
A Hawker 800XP private jet crashed in Bath Township, Michigan, killing all three on board and sparking a major aviation investigation.
The airplane that went down outside of Lansing on Thursday night took off from Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field, officials confirmed with FOX 17.
