YOLO COUNTY – Seven people were missing Wednesday afternoon, a day after a warehouse storing fireworks exploded in Yolo County, authorities said. The explosion also sparked a vegetation fire and triggered evacuations.

Yolo County officials confirmed Friday that human remains have been discovered at the site of the Oakdale Fire, a devastating blaze triggered by explosions at a fireworks storage facility Tuesday near Esparto.

Seven were missing after the Tuesday fireworks explosion near Esparto, which gripped the small farming community.
