As an answer, Gardner Minshew, who got the start over Patrick Mahomes with No. 15 sitting, led the Chiefs on a 12-play, 65-yard drive as the offense had little trouble moving the ball down the field. But the offense was stopped just short on a fourth-down try at Seattle’s 15-yard line.
