Hundreds of Border Patrol officers are mobilizing to bolster the president’s crackdown on immigration in snowy Minneapolis, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Sunday, as tensions between federal law enforcement and local counterparts flare after an ICE-involved shooting last week left a mother of three dead.

Jake Tapper grilled DHS Secretary Kristi Noem about the Minneapolis ICE shooting in a lengthy, tense battle on CNN Sunday.

"We’re going to continue to if they conduct violent activities against law enforcement," DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said Sunday.

Kristi Noem was visibly stunned after being confronted by Jake Tapper on the shooting death of Renee Good, a Minneapolis mom of three who was killed by an ICE agent this month.

Noem doubled down on her characterization of the incident as an act of domestic terrorism by the shooting victim.

On Wednesday, Democratic Representative Robin Kelly of Illinois announced plans to push for Noem's impeachment, citing her oversight of ICE operations in the aftermath of a deadly shooting by a federal agent in Minnesota this week.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) bashed Kristi Noem in front of the House Judiciary Committee as he accused the DHS Secretary of being incompetent and unprofessional while demanding her impeachment. This comes following the fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis that killed Renee Nicole Good,
