The presidents of Ukraine and Russia "have not been exactly best friends," U.S. President Donald Trump said earlier this week, as he pushed for an in-person meeting.

US President Donald Trump wants Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin to first meet one-on-one, after which he will arrange a trilateral meeting including himself.

Amid international peace efforts, Moscow launched 574 strike drones and 40 missiles against Ukraine on Wednesday night.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says a Russian cruise missile hit a U.S. electronics plant in the far west of Ukraine. The strike was part of an overnight barrage of more than 600 drones and missiles.
