The Aug. 14 filming of Netflix’s "Outer Banks" at a Myrtle Beach-area swing bridge has been canceled due to weather concerns. A new date hasn't been set.

Outer Banks on Netflix has been a runaway hit since its Season 1, which premiered on the streaming platform in 2020.

"Extreme beach and coastal damage is likely along the oceanside, resulting in a significant threat to life and property," weather forecasters said about a Hurricane Erin impact on the OBX and other North Carolina coastal areas.
