UK police said they had arrested two suspects Saturday as "a number of people" were taken to hospital after a stabbing on a train in eastern England.

A man charged over a mass stabbing on a busy train in Cambridgeshire and a separate attack at a London station earlier that day has been remanded in custody.

Superintendent John Loveless said one suspect is a black British national and the other is a British national of Caribbean descent.
