Tremonton residents are reacting to the tragic shooting that left two officers dead and another, along with his K-9, injured Sunday night.

Two officers from the Tremonton-Garland Police Department were fatally shot, and a third officer and a police service dog from the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office were injured by gunfire, after police responded to a reported domestic violence call in Tremonton on Sunday night.

Law enforcement officers and public officials come together in solidarity after the tragic shooting that left two police officers dead and another officer and their K9 injured on Sunday. Governor Spencer Cox (R-Utah) called it a terrible and tragic night.

Local media is reporting that law enforcement officers were shot as they responded to an incident in Tremonton.
