Michigan creeps up College Football Playoff rankings
Digest more
Ohio State stayed atop the College Football Playoff rankings for the second straight week Tuesday night, while Indiana remained at No. 2 despite barely squeaking out a victory last week while third-ranked Texas A&M coasted.
Miami beat Syracuse at home in Week 11 and moved up three spots in the rankings to No. 15. With losses by Virginia and Louisville, the Hurricanes are the top ACC team in the rankings. Yes, they jumped Georgia Tech even though the Yellow Jackets have one fewer loss than the Hurricanes and didn't play in Week 11.
The Hurricanes are officially running away with this one. Rueben Bain, projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2026 NFL draft, if not higher, flattened Rickie Collins for his third sack of the season and Miami's fifth of the game. Here's how the Miami football account responded:
It’s still incredibly close between the two teams at the top of the Big Ten, but Ohio State has taken care of business every week.
Football reporter Javon Edmonds moves Syracuse down 4 to 16th between North Carolina and Boston College. Miami is ranked 5th this week.
Running back Mark Fletcher Jr. was ruled out with an injury before the Syracuse game. Wesley Bissainthe and Ahmad Moten were game-time decisions.
The second unveiling of the College Football Playoff rankings is set to be revealed on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Follow along for updates.
