FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - Back to the Bricks is getting ready to return to Saginaw Street for the 20th anniversary of Main Event week.

Classic car lovers rolled into Birch Run Speedway on Monday, Aug. 12 to kick off the main event week of Back to the Bricks, an end-of-summer staple event, with a car show and concert.

The API failed to deliver the resource. The rain may have put a damper on Thursday evening’s Rolling Cruise, but it didn’t stop the party in downtown Flint as Back to the Bricks continued.

Back to the Bricks' second week, donned the "Main Week," has daily events leading up to the Saturday show, which brings classic car owners to Flint before dawn to get a spot in the cruise.

The main Back to the Bricks will run from Aug. 15-20 in downtown Flint featuring concerts, rolling car cruises and many other activities.

The annual “Back to the Bricks” event is one of its hard-earned community success stories. Held on the same day as the colossal Woodward Dream Cruise.
