The Cincinnati Bengals indeed sound a like team open to the idea of trading linebacker and captain Logan Wilson. So says a new report, which at least mentions the possibility of the Bengals picking up the phone, should teams call before the NFL trade deadline next week.

According to Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer, the Bengals were telling teams inquiring about Hendrickson's trade availability that it was a "hard no" — until a few days ago. The team's change of heart may be additionally bolstered by the 47-42 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, putting the team at 3-6.

The Bengals get Lammons, a veteran on the final year of his contract who can provide nice depth. They need help now and into 2026 with Cam Taylor-Britt, at least, seeming on his way out the door. There’s still the issue of honoring trade requests at all here, but getting something back out of a messy split with Wilson is better than nothing.
