The Dallas Cowboys notched an impressive 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday and that has them moving up in the NFL power rankings of experts going into Week 8.

The Dallas Cowboys have been dominant on offense this season, but head coach Brian Schottenheimer still sees room for improvement.

With Dak Prescott playing like an MVP for the No. 1 offense in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys probably could contend for the playoffs with just a mediocre defense.

As long as Dallas stays .500 (the Cowboys are 3-3-1) Prescott can't be MVP. But his numbers are impressive. He is completing 71.4% of his passes, he leads the league with 1,881 passing yards and he has 16 touchdowns against 3 interceptions.
