Denis Villeneuve shares first Dune 3 set image as the film heads into production after a surprising name change.

Part Three is officially in production. Director Denis Villeneuve has kicked off filming on what will be his final chapter in the Dune saga. It was also revealed that the movie will not be titled Dune: Messiah as many expected.

Filming on “Dune: Part Three” is set to begin imminently, with Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya reprising their roles. Jason Momoa has also confirmed he will return for “Part Three,” after featuring in the first “Dune” but not appearing in “Part Two.”
