Once again, the Boston Red Sox embarrassed the New York Yankees on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. The Red Sox won their eighth consecutive game against their rival ( BOS 12, NYY 1 ), the first time they've done that in a single season since 2009. It is only Boston's third eight-game winning streak over the Yankees in its history.

Yankees get Stanton back as Judge tests throwing arm that could hinder him all season, Boone says
Giancarlo Stanton will return to the New York Yankees’ lineup in right field after missing three games with what the team described as general soreness.
New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton was 100% real on how New York can overcome the Red Sox during this weekend's series.
Stanton helped the Yankees to a 6-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night. "He was locked in, dialed in," Aaron Judge said.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone discussed Stanton's mentality after Wednesday's game, via YES Network. "He's an animal," he said. Stanton is now 4-for-7 with two homers, six RBI, two walks, and two runs scored as a pinch-hitter this season. The five-time All-Star is also hitting .333 with 15 homers and 37 RBI since July 1.
Giancarlo Stanton had a pinch-hit, two-run home run in the 10th to lift the Yankees to a 6-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays, their first road victory in seven extra-inning games this year.
Giancarlo Stanton hit as clutch a home run as one can have for the New York Yankees in extra innings on Wednesday.
