Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis explained what led up to a shooting Wednesday (9/10) where an officer was hit in the Zilker Park area. Davis said the officer was working park curfew and taking care of towing a stolen car when two people came out of a wooded area. A male suspect opened fire, hitting a female and the officer, according to Davis. The officer is in stable condition. | KXAN News
